Courses Offered in Ekiti State University and their Cut Off Marks

EKSU JAMB Cut Off Marks

EKSU official Jamb Cut Off Mark is pegged at 180. However, you need to score as high as possible in order to increase your chances of getting admitted. You are expected to score high to be considered for admission, especially for competitive courses like Engineering. The cut of marks for some specific courses are listed below:

  1. All Engineering courses – 200 and above
  2. All Basic medical sciences courses – 180 and above
  3. Law, Medicine, Pharmacy –  240 and above
  4. All Agricultural and Educational courses – 120 to 180
  5. All courses in other faculties like Art, Commercial, Physical and Natural Sciences – 180 and above

EKSU Post UTME Cut Off Marks

The minimum Post UTME Cut off Mark for all EKSU courses is 20%. However, you need to score as high as possible in order to be considered for admission in competitive courses. The list of courses and their post utme cut off mark is presented below:

  1. All Engineering courses – 60% and above
  2. All Basic medical sciences courses –  50% and above
  3. Law, Medicine, Pharmacy – 85% and above
  4. All Agricultural and educational courses – 20% and above
  5. All courses in other faculties like Art, Commercial, Physical and Natural – 40% and above

EKSU Admission Requirements

  • All candidates must meet the cut off mark as stipulated above.
  • The candidate must be at least 15 years of age in the year of admission
  • All candidates must possess at least 5 credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language at GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings.
  • Candidates with Teachers Grade II (TC II) or passes at credit or merit levels in conjunction with credit passes in relevant subjects at GCE, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents may be considered. No subject may be counted at both TC II and GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents.
