Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) is a privately owned higher institution located in Ado Ekiti in Ekiti State. The institution has no religious affiliation and the students have a corporate dress code.  ABUAD has produced many sound and agile professionals. The JAMB cut off mark for this University is 180.

The pre degree programme runs for 9 months and allows for admission into 100 level. Also, Afe Babalola University offers the Degree Foundation Programme. This is an 18 month direct entry programme into 200 level.

Admission Requirements for Undergraduate Programmes

  1. Current Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result.
  2. For College of Law, five (5) O’ level (WAEC, GCE, NECO, NABTEB, and IGCSE) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Literature in English and any other two (2) Social Science or Art Subjects in one sitting.
  3. For College of Medicine and Health Sciences, five  (5) O’ level (WAEC, GCE, NECO, NABTEB, and IGCSE) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Chemistry in one sitting.
  4. For Other colleges, five (5) O’ level (WAEC, GCE, NECO, NABTEB, and IGCSE) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and three (3) other subjects relevant to course of study.
  5. JAMB Change of Institution form where applicable.
