This is due to the recent increase in the school fees by the University management. Note:

All medical students pay a little higher than non-medical students. This is only applicable during the first year of study as everything returns to normalcy from 200 level.
The increased fees will not affect the current 500 level students. They are expected to pay the previous fee of N15,400 for science students and N13,400 for non-science students. Meanwhile, non-science courses are all for 4 years, so the N13,400 fee is scrapped.
