About Madonna University
Madonna University is the first Catholic university in Nigeria. It was accredited by the National Universities Commission. Madonna University Nigeria has three campuses that are located in Elele – Rivers State, Okija – Anambra State, and Akpugo – Enugu State.
The campuses have different Faculties with Departments. The Okija campus in Anambra state has the following Faculties: Management and Social Sciences; Arts and Education, and Law. [1] The Elele campus has Faculties of Medicine Surgery, and Pharmacology.
The Akpugo campus has a Faculty of Engineering. These campuses have their main libraries as well as libraries attached to Faculties and Departments. The university graduates first-class, second-class, and third-class students. The university also has a postgraduate program and part-time program that runs on Fridays and Saturdays.

The latest update on Madonna University’s Cutoff mark for all courses in the 2023/2024 academic session is 160. Therefore candidates who score up to 160 or beyond will be automatically qualified to sit for the Madonna University Post UTME Screening and Examination.

Candidates with Five (5) O’ Level Credit Level Passes in not more than two sittings should include English Language and Mathematics and three (3) other subjects relevant to the course of study.
NOTE: Candidates can also combine WAEC, NECO, OR NABTEB in no more than two sittings, EXCEPT in Medicine and Surgery which requires ONLY one sitting.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
- Prospective undergraduate candidates who scored up to 160 in the most recent JAMB UTME are qualified to apply including those who did not choose Madonna University as their first choice Institution.
- The above Madonna University Cutoff Mark applies to all other Departments except for Law, Medicine, Pharmacy, and Nursing. Their cutoff mark is 200.
- Candidates awaiting SSCE result or its equivalent are qualified to apply for admission as long as the result will be available on resumption.
