How to Check West African Examinations Council (WAEC) 2020 May/June 

This is to inform all the Secondary School Candidates that participated in the 2020 West African Examinations Council (WAEC) May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) that they can now check their results online. The process on how to check WAEC result for the 2020 SSCE has now been updated.

According to the statistics released by WAEC, 65% obtained a minimum of credits in five (5) subjects and above, including English Language and Mathematics (See: WAEC May/June Result Statistics). Certificates of candidates whose results have been fully processed and released will be ready within the next 90 days, counting from Monday, 2nd November 2020.

How to Check WAEC Result Online.

You don’t need to purchase any scratch card/pin to access your result. Candidates are to check the Smart Identity Card used during the conduct of the examination for their Result Checker PIN and Serial Number.

1. Go to WAEC 2020 result checking portal at https://www.waecdirect.org.
2. Enter your WAEC Examination Number in the required column.
3. Select your Examination Year i.e. 2020.
4. Select your Examination Type i.e. SCHOOL CANDIDATE RESULT.
5. Enter the Card Serial Number.
6. Enter the Card PIN.
7. Finally, click “Submit” button to get your 2020 WAEC Result.
