Eligibility Criteria for COOU  Post-UTME/Direct Entry 2023/2024

To be eligible for the screening exercise, candidates must have obtained a minimum UTME score of 200 for programs like Law, Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Pharmaceutical Sciences. For other courses, a score of 150 will suffice. Additionally, candidates must have chosen COOU as their first choice in the 2023 UTME.

Important Dates and Registration Fee

Registration commences on the 1st of August 2023 and remains open until one week after the release of the 2023 NECO results. A non-refundable registration fee of N2,000.00 is to be paid via the REMITA platform at any commercial bank.

 Registration Process

The registration process has been streamlined for convenience:

• Visit the COOU portal or click here.
• Select “Prospective Students“.
• Choose ‘Generate 2023/2024 PUTME Invoice’.
• Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
• Click on ‘Sign in to generate an invoice’.
• Make your payment at any bank or use your ATM card for added convenience.
• Return to the portal.
• Enter your JAMB Registration Number again and click on ‘Apply Here’.
• Fill in your Date of Birth and other necessary fields.
• For O’level results, ensure they are uploaded to JAMB CAPS using CBT centers (Note: regular business centers won’t work).
• Upload the following documents (ensuring file sizes are under 50KB):
  • JAMB Result Slip
  • O’level 1
  • O’level 2 (if applicable)
• Review your input on the Summary Page and ensure all information is accurate.
• Tick the CONFIRMATION BOX.
• Finally, hit the SUBMIT button.
• Don’t forget to print your acknowledgment slip, as it serves as proof of completion.
