Bowen University School Fees
Bowen University was established in 2001. It is located in Iwo, Osun state. The institution runs undergraduate, postgraduate (diploma, masters and doctorate) and JUPEB programmes. All its academic programmes are accredited by the Nigerian University Commission (NUC).
Categories of Bowen University School Fees
At Bowen University, the fees are split into 5 categories which are Category A, B, C, D and E.
Category A fees include Academic fees, accommodation and convenience fees (N180, 000), Bench fees and Other fees (N74, 000). ‘Other fees’ comprises of BBSF (N4, 000), Entrepreneurship and soft skills (N20, 000), Internet access and portal management (N30, 000), and health care (N20, 000). The Bench fee varies for each course in each year.
The fees in Category B are non-refundable fees that are to be paid by only new students. It comprises of the Acceptance fee, medical test fee and fees for handbook and result verification.
Category C fees include computer and Information Technology Acquisition fees, as well as the Bowen University Parents Association Forum (BUPAF) fees.
Category D fees are those for only graduating students. It includes graduation fees, student yearbook, alumni dues as well as Oral Examination/Induction fees for medical students.
Category E fees are optional fees; includes Accounting training scheme fees and Bowen University Souvenirs.
Bowen University Payment Structure
In the First Semester, students in their first year and second year are required to pay 70% of all fees in category A and full payment of all items in category B and C within the first two weeks of resumption of the first semester. The balance of 30% total fees in Category A must be paid within two weeks of the second semester. All other students (300 Level to 500 level) are required to pay all fees in category A at the beginning of the semester. Fees in Category B, C and E are to be paid within the first two weeks of resumption of the first semester
For the Second Semester, Final year students are to pay full fees in Category D as applicable. 200 to 500 level students must have paid the outstanding from Category A within the first two weeks of resumption of the second semester. Students in Medicine and Surgery programmes are required to pay all relevant fees in Category B and C, as well as, a minimum of 40% of the entire session fees within the first week of resumption.

Bowen University Category B Payments
This is for new students of Bowen University who enter either through UTME or DE. This is basically the acceptance fees and other preliminary payment for newly admitted students. For full details about the category B Bowen payment, please click HERE.
Bowen University Category C Payments
There are two fees in this category; they are:
Computer and Information Technology Acquisition Skills: N20, 000
This fee is compulsory for all 200 to 400 level students in the Faculties of Social and Management Sciences, and Faculty of Science. The fee is compulsory for all 200 level students in the Faculties of Agriculture, Education, Humanities and the College of Health Sciences. Though, it is optional for 300, 400 and 500 level students in these faculties. For 100 levels, students in all the faculties In Bowen University, this is entirely optional.
Bowen University Parents Association Forum (BUPAF) fees
New students are to pay N20, 000 while returning students are to pay N10,000 in their first semesters. The receipt of this payment would be needed for their clearance exercise so ensure the BUPAF fees are paid.

Bowen University Category E Payments
The category E is the last structure of Bowen payment structure. These fees are basically optional. The fees include the Accounting Technician Scheme fee. The fee is meant for a voluntary professional programme for Accounting, Business Administration, Economics and Banking & Finance Students. To be part of this, you have to pay a total sum of N40,000.
Another payment that falls in this category is the Bowen University Souvenirs payments. This payment gives students the privilege to get Bowen branded products and wears. It costs a total sum of N30,000.
Final Tip
There would be no refunds after payments have been made. Instead, overpayments of fees will be credited to the student’s account and sorted out at graduation if it has not been fully utilized by then.
All students are required to have registered their courses within the first 3 weeks of resumption. Registration is dependent on payment of all prescribed fees. Late registration attracts a fee of 5% of whatever fee is outstanding plus N5,000. As for the cafeteria, the students’ pay as they eat so feeding is not included in the school fees.
