About LAUTECH

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) is a tertiary institution located in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria. The university enrolls over 30,000 students and employs more than 3,000 workers including contract staff.

The university began its first academic session on 19 October 1990, with a total of 436 candidates enrolled, in four faculties namely Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Engineering and Management Sciences, and Pure and Applied Sciences. A College of Health Sciences was established a year later.

The name of the university was changed to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology after the separation of Osun State from Oyo State.

For two consecutive seasons, 2003 and 2004, the university has been adjudged by the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) as the best state university in Nigeria. The university has two campuses: Ogbomoso and Osogbo campuses and is currently made up of six faculties and a college.

Programmes offered at the University attract professional recognition through their emphasis on close working links with industry and other professions.

LAUTECH School Fees Schedule 2023/2024 — COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES STUDENTS

In addition to the LAUTECH tuition fees above, all students in the College of Health Sciences are required to pay a sum of N15,000 annually as their clinical supplementation levy.

LAUTECH Admission Requirements For 2023/2024

Below are the requirements for candidates who wish to gain admission into LAUTECH through JAMB (UTME):

— A minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level Credits in a maximum of 2 sittings.

— You must choose the correct JAMB subject combination for your course.

— Candidates must score at least 160 in the just concluded JAMB UTME examination to be offered admission into the Ladoke Akintola University Of Technology.

— LAUTECH Must be your First Choice of Institution.

— You Must Participate in LAUTECH POST UTME/SCREENING to be considered for admission if any for the year.

— Candidates must have reached the age of 16.

B) LAUTECH Admission Requirements For Direct Entry (DE) 2023/2024:

Below are the requirements for candidates who wish to gain admission into the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH through Direct Entry:

— A minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level Credits in a maximum of 2 sittings.

— Candidates must have ‘A’ level/IJMB passes in two subjects that are related to their area of study.

— JUPEB/A’ Level passes in Related subjects.

— Degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in related fields for your course of choice.

— Direct entry candidates are required to purchase the LAUTECH Direct Entry form through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) And LAUTECH Portal.
