About DSUST
Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro is a state government-owned and operated Nigerian university.
The Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro was first established as a college of Agriculture which was turned into a Polytechnic on January 1, 2002, by law during the administration of James Ibori.
In January 2021, Governor Ifeanyi A. Okowa of Delta State announced plans to convert Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro, and two other schools into a full-fledged University, the bills had its first reading during plenary at the Delta State House of Assembly on the 28th day of January 2021.
In February 2021, the bill was passed into law after going through the House Committee on Education.
While signing the bill which was passed by the State House Assembly, Governor Ifeanyi A Okowa said, “As the students of our technical education start to progress from the technical colleges to the polytechnics, they also have a chance of going further to the University of Science and Technology.
The university is set to offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses covering seven faculties:

5) Faculty of Environmental Science

7) Faculty of Management Science

Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro Post UTME Eligibility:
Candidates who score exactly or above the required JAMB official cutoff mark.
Candidates who chose Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro as their preferred choice of institution during the UTME Registration.
Candidates must also obtain the required O’level credits for their programmes as specified in JAMB Brochure.
Candidate must be at least 16 years of age
Interested Candidates who did not choose Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro during the UTME Registration but wish to study in the university, should change to the DSUST via the JAMB website.

Delta State University of Science and Technology Acceptance Fee
How much is the Delta State University of Science and Technology acceptance fee? DSUST acceptance fee is N30,000 (thirty thousand naira only) and is nonrefundable. The acceptance fee is a compulsory payment for all newly admitted students of the institution and it is not included in the school fees.
DSUST Hostel Accommodation Fee
How much is the Delta State University of Science and Technology hostel accommodation fee? DSUST hostel fee is N35,000 (thirty-five thousand naira only) per academic year. The hostel fee covers bed space and maintenance. Accommodations are available for all interested students per academic year.
Note
Late payment of DSUST tuition fees for first-year students may either attract extra charges, inability to sit for a semester examination, or forfeit of admission.
All freshers and old students are advised to pay the Delta State University of Science and Technology school fees early at the designated banks nationwide. Payment of DSUST fees 2023 should be made within the stipulated time given by the school.
DSUST Cutoff Mark
All 2023 JAMB candidates who scored a minimum of 160 and above, who also chose the Delta University of Science and Technology, Ozoro as their choice of institution are eligible to buy the DSUST Post UTME form.
How to Calculate the DSUST Aggregate Score
The DELSU cutoff mark is a combination of your JAMB score and your Post UTME score.
Here is the procedure to calculate your DELSU cutoff mark;
- Divide your JAMB score by 8
- Divide your Post UTME screening score by 2
- Add the results from your Post UTME and JAMB score
For example, if your JAMB score is 260 and your Post UTME score is 70. The calculation for the aggregate score will be as follows;
- JAMB Score: 260/8 = 32.5
- Post UTME Score: 70/2 = 35
- Total Aggregate: 32.5 + 35 =67.5
You can only be considered for admission when you score above the cutoff mark. It is also important to know that departmental cutoff marks differ for different courses.
Therefore, to get a higher chance of being admitted to DSUST, you need to target a higher score than the stipulated cutoff mark.
