UI School Fees Schedule 2023/2024 Academic Session

The Management of the University of Ibadan, Ibadan (UI) wishes to inform the general public that the school fees for the 2023/2024 academic session have been released and published online.

UI ACCEPTANCE FEE 2023/2024:

The University of Ibadan (UI) acceptance fee for the 2023/2024 academic session is estimated from N25,000 to N30,000. This fee is mandatory and non-refundable for every newly admitted 100L student.

UI Cutoff Marks For 2023/2024

JAMB Cut off mark for UI this year is 200 irrespective of the course you applied for.

Therefore, any student who sat for the JAMB and scores above 200 can move to the next stage of admission processing.

But if for any reason, the student is unable to make up to 200, even by one mark, that student will not be able to apply for UI Post UTME.

Note

The JAMB cutoff mark is 200 and is the same for all courses and any candidate is eligible to participate once they’ve crossed the limit.

Therefore, ignore the misinformation that JAMB provided a separate cutoff mark for certain high-demand courses such as Medicine and Pharmacy.

Apart from the JAMB cutoff mark, there is also the departmental cutoff mark which is gotten from both your JAMB and Post UTME score. This is what we call your aggregate score.

Note that the UI Departmental score obtained is that of the previous session in 2022.

Candidates who score above each departmental cutoff mark are assured of admission for that session.

This departmental cutoff mark is not the same for all courses, the more competitive a course is, the higher the cutoff mark for admission.

How To Calculate UI Aggregate Score

To Calculate your UI Admission aggregate Score, simply divide your JAMB Score by 8 and your Post UTME score by 2, then add both together.

Here is a typical example, using Ola as a case study…

Ola has a JAMB score of 258 and a Post UTME score of 65, to calculate for Ola’s UI aggregate score, we will have?

(258/8) + (65/2) = 64.75

With this, it means JOHN is eligible to study any course with an aggregate score less than 64.75 as shown in the table above.

You can apply this to your JAMB and post-UTME grade to see where you stand.

UI JAMB cutoff mark is 200 for all courses, while the departmental cutoff mark varies, depending on how competitive the course is.
