About Veritas University
Veritas University is a private university, located in Abuja. It was founded in March 2002 by the Catholic Church in Nigeria.
The Institution received its provisional operation license in 2007 from the National Universities Commission and commenced admission of students in October 2008 at its take-off campus in Obehie, Abia State, Nigeria. In 2014, it moved to its permanent site with its campus now located in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Nigeria.

Veritas University Cutoff Mark 2023/2024
The management of Veritas University wishes to announce to the general public and the aspirants particularly that the VU has set her Cut Off Mark for the 2023/2024 academic session at 170 and above.
This implies that all prospective candidates or aspirants who wish to be admitted into Veritas University (VU) must have a score of 170 or above in the recent JAMB examination.
It is to be noted that only candidates who scored 170 and above will be qualified to apply for the Veritas University Post-UTME Screening and be given Admission.

The Veritas University school fees schedule for the 2023/2024 academic session ranges from ₦670,000.00 to ₦1,786,000.00 depending on the course of study with other incurred fees.

How To Pay For Veritas University School Fees
Below is the step-by-step guide on how to pay for your Veritas University school fees as a fresh or returning student.
- Visit the Veritas UG admission portal via here.
- If you are a fresh student, hit the ‘Applicant‘ option.
- For returning students, click on ‘Students‘.
- Provide your login details to access the portal.
- Navigate to the dashboard and click on the ‘Generate Remita‘ button.
- You will be redirected to Remita and asked to select the specific payment option.
- Select your desired payment option and click on ‘Generate RRR‘ to open the RRR interface.
- Now, click on ‘Pay‘ and follow the instructions provided.
- Next, click on ‘Continue‘ to complete the payment process.
Alternatively, if you prefer to make the payment at a bank, you can copy the generated ‘RRR’ number and present it to your bank cashier and inform him/her that you are making a payment on Remita.
NOTE: Please keep in mind that Veritas University’s school costs for new and returning students are paid per session rather than per semester.
Also, that payment must be made solely through Veritas University’s site. You should never pay your fees using any other agency or platform besides the university’s site.

Veritas University Admission Requirements For All Students
Gaining admission into an Undergraduate Programme at Veritas University is primarily under two (2) entry methods: the UTME and the Direct Entry.
A) VU Admission Requirements Through UTME
To gain admission into VU, UTME candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Candidates must have reached the age of 16.
- Candidates must have at least 6 (six) credit grades in their O-Level result (s).
It must include English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects related to their course of study.
For example, a Candidate who wants to study law must have a “C” in English Language, Mathematics, Government/History, Economics, and Literature in English.
- Candidates must score at least 170 in the JAMB UTME examination
- Candidates must take the VU post-UTME screening examination and must perform very well in the examination (Depending on the course of study)
- Not more than ONE sitting result is accepted for admission into the Veritas University (VU)
- Candidates must choose the correct subject combination for their courses.
- Lastly, candidates must meet the agreed cutoff marks for their courses to gain admission into the university.
B) VU Admission Requirements Through Direct Entry
Candidates who wish to gain admission through direct entry into the Veritas University (VU) must meet the following requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least five (5) Credits in their O’level result. However, it must include English Language and Mathematics. Notwithstanding, two sitting results are not allowed.
- Candidates must have also reached the age of 16.
- Candidates are expected to get the JAMB Direct Entry form from JAMB to apply.
- Candidates should have any of the following certificates: OND, ND, NCE, IJMB, Cambridge A level, BSc, HND, and ICAN.
